Was ist das Badge?What is the badge?

Das Badge ist ein Soulbound-NFT auf Base: ein datiertes On-Chain-Zertifikat deines Reputation-Scores. Es ist nicht handelbar und nicht übertragbar - Reputation soll keinen Markt haben. Pro Wallet gibt es genau ein Badge. Mintest du nach einem neuen bezahlten Scan erneut, wird das bestehende aktualisiert, es entsteht kein zweites.

The badge is a soulbound NFT on Base: a dated on-chain certificate of your reputation score. It can't be traded or transferred - reputation should have no market. There is exactly one badge per wallet. If you mint again after a new paid scan, the existing one is updated, no second badge is created.

So bekommst du einsHow to get one

  1. Auf V1 deine eigene Wallet scannen und den Report freischalten (x402-Zahlung in USDC).
  2. Unter den freigeschalteten Scores auf Badge minten klicken.
  3. Mit derselben Wallet verbinden, die zertifiziert wird - eine andere lehnt der Contract ab.
  4. Transaktion auf Base bestätigen. Du zahlst nur Gas, weniger als einen Cent in ETH.
  5. Scan your own wallet on V1 and unlock the report (x402 payment in USDC).
  6. Below the unlocked scores, click mint badge.
  7. Connect with the same wallet that is being certified - the contract rejects any other.
  8. Confirm the transaction on Base. You only pay gas, less than a cent in ETH.

  1. In MetaMask das Netzwerk auf Base stellen.
  2. NFTs → NFT importieren.
  3. Adresse: 0x5e425f840a449a30f0a3a48d2fd6b694e227e623
  4. ID: deine Token-ID aus dem Rechner oben. Nicht 8453 eintragen - das ist die Chain-ID von Base, nicht deine Token-ID.
  5. In MetaMask, switch the network to Base.
  6. NFTs → Import NFT.
  7. Address: 0x5e425f840a449a30f0a3a48d2fd6b694e227e623
  8. ID: your token ID from the calculator above. Do not enter 8453 - that's Base's chain ID, not your token ID.

Rainbow und andere WalletsRainbow and other wallets

Rainbow, Zerion und die meisten Marktplätze finden das Badge automatisch über ihre Indexer - kein Import nötig. Taucht es nicht sofort auf: ein paar Minuten warten oder in der Wallet die NFT-Ansicht aktualisieren (in Rainbow: drei Punkte beim NFT → Refresh).

Rainbow, Zerion and most marketplaces find the badge automatically via their indexers - no import needed. If it doesn't show up right away: wait a few minutes or refresh the NFT view in your wallet (Rainbow: three dots on the NFT → refresh).

Häufige ProblemeCommon issues

Fast immer eine falsche Token-ID oder das falsche Netzwerk. Prüfe: Netzwerk Base, Contract-Adresse wie oben, ID aus dem Rechner (nicht 8453, nicht deine Adresse in Hex).

Almost always a wrong token ID or the wrong network. Check: network Base, contract address as above, ID from the calculator (not 8453, not your address in hex).

"Bitte mit der zertifizierten Wallet verbinden"

Beim Minten ist eine andere Wallet verbunden als die, deren Report gekauft wurde. Das Badge ist soulbound - nur die zertifizierte Wallet selbst kann minten.

Das Badge-Bild wird live von reputa.xyz geladen und von Wallets zwischengespeichert. Nach einem Re-Mint oder Design-Update: NFT-Ansicht aktualisieren oder kurz warten.

The badge image is served live from reputa.xyz and cached by wallets. After a re-mint or design update: refresh the NFT view or wait a bit.

Übertragen oder verkaufen geht nicht

Transfer or sale doesn't work

Absicht, kein Fehler: Jede Übertragung wird vom Contract abgelehnt ("soulbound"). Könnte man Badges handeln, könnte man sich einen guten Score kaufen.

Intentional, not a bug: the contract rejects every transfer ("soulbound"). If badges were tradeable, a good score could simply be bought.

Das GrundprinzipThe core principle

Scannen kannst du jede Wallet - bewertet wird nur deine eigene. Fremde Wallets zeigen Fakten (Approvals, Krisen-Exposure, Verteilung), aber keinerlei Score oder Verdict. Bewertungen gibt es erst nach einem kostenlosen Besitznachweis per Signatur (keine Transaktion, kein Gas). Fürs Zertifizieren (Badge minten) gilt dasselbe: Die Wallet zahlt den Report selbst und signiert den Mint selbst - niemand kann sich fremde Reputation umhängen. Daraus ergeben sich zwei Wege:

You can scan any wallet - only your own gets rated. Foreign wallets show facts (approvals, crisis exposure, distribution) but never a score or verdict. Ratings unlock after a free ownership signature (no transaction, no gas). Certifying (minting a badge) follows the same rule: the wallet pays for its report and signs the mint itself - nobody can wear someone else's reputation. This gives you two paths:

Der häufigste Fall: Du willst die Wallet zertifizieren, mit der du wirklich unterwegs bist - mit ihrer ganzen Historie (MetaMask, Rainbow & Co). So geht's im Feed:

The most common case: you want to certify the wallet you actually use - with its full history (MetaMask, Rainbow etc.). Here's how in the feed:

  1. Deine Haupt-Wallet-Adresse scannen.
  2. Freischalten antippen → WalletConnect wählen und mit deiner Wallet-App verbinden. Die Zahlung läuft in USDC (Polygon oder Base - je nachdem, wo deine Wallet steht).
  3. In der Wallet-App bestätigen, dann zurück zu Farcaster wechseln - der Vorgang wartet und läuft automatisch weiter.
  4. Zum Minten braucht dieselbe Wallet ein paar Cent ETH auf Base als Gas. Mint bestätigen, zurückwechseln, fertig.
  5. Scan your main wallet address.
  6. Tap Unlock → choose WalletConnect and connect your wallet app. Payment is in USDC (Polygon or Base - whichever chain your wallet is on).
  7. Confirm in the wallet app, then switch back to Farcaster - the flow is waiting and continues automatically.
  8. Minting needs a few cents of ETH on Base as gas in that same wallet. Confirm the mint, switch back, done.

Tipp: Am Desktop geht derselbe Weg auf reputa.xyz/v1 - mit Browser-Wallet oft am bequemsten.

Weg B: Deine Farcaster-Wallet rankenPath B: Rank your Farcaster wallet

Der schnellste Weg, komplett ohne Wallet-Wechsel: Scannst du die eingebaute Farcaster-Wallet (Adresse findest du im Wallet-Tab der App), signiert sie Zahlung und Mint direkt im Feed - ein Tap pro Schritt. Sie braucht dafür etwas USDC auf Base (ab $0.10) und ein paar Cent ETH auf Base.

The fastest path, no wallet switching at all: if you scan the built-in Farcaster wallet (find its address in the app's wallet tab), it signs payment and mint right in the feed - one tap per step. It needs some USDC on Base (from $0.10) and a few cents of ETH on Base.

Ehrlich eingeordnet: Feed-Wallets sind meist jung - wenig Historie heißt erstmal ein bescheidener Score ("Newcomer"). Das ist kein Fehler, sondern das System bei der Arbeit: Der Score wächst mit jeder Woche echter Nutzung, und per Re-Mint hältst du dein Badge aktuell.

Honest framing: feed wallets are usually young - little history means a modest score at first ("Newcomer"). That's not a bug, that's the system working: the score grows with every week of real use, and re-minting keeps your badge current.

Minten & teilenMint & share

Nach dem Freischalten tippst du unter den Scores auf Reputations-Badge minten. Dein frisches Badge erscheint sofort im Fenster - von dort teilst du es mit einem Tap als Cast: große Score-Karte, plus Button, über den andere direkt ihre eigene Reputation prüfen.

After unlocking, tap Mint reputation badge below the scores. Your fresh badge appears right in the window - share it from there with one tap as a cast: a big score card, plus a button for others to check their own reputation.

Gut zu wissenGood to know

  • Die Farcaster-Wallet erscheint genau dann als Zahl-Option, wenn du sie selbst gescannt hast - für alle anderen Adressen führt der Weg über WalletConnect (Weg A).
  • Pro Wallet gibt es ein Badge. Nach einem neuen Scan mintest du einfach nochmal - das Zertifikat wird aktualisiert.
  • Dein Kauf gilt 7 Tage: In dieser Zeit öffnest du den Report jederzeit ohne neue Zahlung.
  • Für das frischeste Karten-Bild im Cast teilst du nach einem Re-Mint einfach neu - Farcaster merkt sich Karten pro Link eine Weile.
  • Teilen lohnt sich: Kommt über deinen geteilten Badge-Link jemand Neues und schaltet zum ersten Mal frei, bekommst du automatisch einen Gratis-Scan gutgeschrieben - er wird dir beim nächsten Freischalten angeboten (kostenlose Signatur statt Zahlung).
  • The Farcaster wallet appears as a payment option exactly when you scanned it itself - for any other address, the path is WalletConnect (path A).
  • There is one badge per wallet. After a new scan, just mint again - the certificate gets updated.
  • Your purchase is valid for 7 days: reopen the report anytime during that period without paying again.
  • For the freshest card image in a cast, simply share again after a re-mint - Farcaster remembers cards per link for a while.
  • Sharing pays off: if someone new arrives through your shared badge link and unlocks for the first time, you automatically earn a free scan - offered at your next unlock (a free signature instead of a payment).

Was die Prüfung bedeutet: Das Badge ist soulbound - es kann nur von der Wallet selbst gemintet worden sein, nach einem bezahlten Report für genau diese Adresse. Ein altes Snapshot-Datum ist kein Fehler, nur ein Hinweis: Der Inhaber kann per Re-Mint jederzeit auffrischen.

What the check means: the badge is soulbound - it can only have been minted by the wallet itself, after a paid report for exactly this address. An older snapshot date is not an error, just a hint: the owner can refresh via re-mint anytime.
